Don’t put you and your family’s long-term health on hold. Join our panel of local experts for a virtual town hall discussion on empowering community members in the greater Pottstown area to take charge of their healthcare.

Navigating appointments safely
Necessary preventive screenings for each age
Where to receive care and vaccinations
Receiving healthcare without insurance or a primary care physician
In addition to providing residents with information, the panel will share strategies and tools for promoting annual well exams and preventive screenings.
Meet Our Panelists:
Natalia Massias, CRNP, FNP-C
Natalia Massias completed her undergraduate nursing degree at Widener University and her masters degree at University of Pennsylvania. She wanted to work in primary care to help educate patients on all aspects of health in a way that is easy to understand and help them become their healthiest self.
Currently, Natalia enjoys working in an Federally Qualified Health Center where she is able to provide care to a diverse group of patients.
Patience M. Terkowski, MSN, CRNP, AOCNP, ANP-BC
Over the course of her career, Patience Terkowski has worked in long term care, visiting nursing, telemetry, ICU, ED, and nursing education. Her journey into health care began as a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy. She served 8 years before going to nursing school and becoming an RN.
Patience changed the focus of her graduate degree to become an oncology nurse practitioner after her mother was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer and was treated at the Pottstown Hospital Cancer Center. She worked at a wonderful facility for 15 years that offered her the opportunity to work in their cancer center for 4 years.
Brian Parkes
Brian Parkes is the Executive Director of the TriCounty Active Adult Center (TRAAC). Serving in this role for the past 7 years, he has led the organization through a successful capital campaign, the renovation and opening of a new building, and a rebranding.
The TriCounty Active Adult Center has tripled the number of older adults it serves in the past 4 years. Brian has a background in marketing, having spent time as the North America Marketing Manager for the retail division of a medical reference book publisher. He became a self-employed nonprofit consultant for nearly ten years prior to joining the TRAAC. As a consultant, Brian helped dozens of nonprofits communicate more effectively and raise more money for their mission.
Meet our Moderator:
Dr. Myra Forrest
Myra Forrest is Chair of the Board of Trustees of Pottstown Hospital –Tower Health and is a member of the Draw the Lines Eastern Steering Committee, which advocates for fair and unbiased voting districts throughout the state of Pennsylvania. She served as a board member for the Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation for 9 years, and was Chair of the Board of Directors from 2017 to 2020. She now serves as the Education Advocate for the Foundation.
She has taught students at every level, from nursery school to doctoral programs. Past roles include Executive Director for the Foundation for Pottstown Education, an Associate Professor of Education at Immaculata University, and was an Assistant Professor of Education at Cabrini College.
